Wakatsuru Sake Brewery, the parent company of Saburomaru Distillery, was founded in 1862. We started producing whiskey in 1952, brewing sake in the winter and distilling whiskey in the summer. Saburomaru Distillery, which made a new start with a major renovation in 2017 , is taking on a number of innovative initiatives while continuing its tradition as a whiskey distillery in Toyama Prefecture .
